"I went to Colorado College and enjoyed the Rockies very much. I almost settled there. I have lived in the upstate NY area for nearly 40 years. I am semiretired and living in the Lake George area. I have 3 sons and 3 grandchildren. I took a few years off, in the early 90's, and traveled through every state but Hawaii in our motor home. Great experience! I know someone tried to organize a 25th reunion, but business precluded participation at that time. I did visit Sarasota every couple of years, for the warm sun, and I have been disappointed with the fate of Riverview High School. I remember the clean, bright spaciousness of that modern new building, although we did have to remove shoes at times to pass classes. Perhaps it was it's fate, after all, "Mr. Blue" was our class song! I could never figure out that choice, and I still cringe at the thought of it. My Dad died several years ago and my Mom moved back up here after over 40 years in Sarasota. I haven't been back for several years."

"...wondered if there were reunions, just didn't know who to contact. Here's a short list of things about me. I married Ada Schantz in 1966, we have 4 children, two boys, two girls. They are grown. One grandchild. I work as a tool and die maker and have for 40 years. I owned my own business for 15 yrs, now work for Molex Inc. I enjoy golfing, fishing, traveling and many other things. I would enjoy hearing from...others from class."

Worked in construction, farming, ran a book store, health food store (early 1970's). Later got masters in psychology. Was therapist (1977-1983) then real estate sales and investments (1985-1997). Now a retired "artist". Travel frequently. Focus is on the spiritual journey of life."

"Hello everyone. I graduated from Livingston State College, Ala. in May of 65. Got married in Aug. of 65 and joined the Army in Nov. of 65 for 3 years, one of them in Viet Nam. After the Army I worked for Hallmark Cards and ended up in Miami for 21 years. Seventeen of those years were spent with SP Richards Co. (office supply). We moved back to Sarasota in 1990. I now work for Keeton's Office Supply Co. I am still married to the same wife (Joanne) and we have two great kids that are now grown. I play golf and sail for my recreation, so come on down Rusty and we will get in a round or two. Do you remember Jim Mason? He taught drivers education and was a coach. He lives in Sarasota. We play a game of golf every now and then. Fred Murphy was in Sarasota playing in a band but I have lost track of him. Hope to see everyone when we have our next reunion."

"I graduated from Troy State in 65. Coached and taught high school in Dekalb County, Ga. (Atlanta) till 77. Moved to Kansas City and was national sales rep. for a sign company till 86. Moved and retired to California in 87."
               Jim Machacek

"I still work as a System Engineer for Harris Corporation but am hoping to hang it up sometime next year. It has been awhile since I have heard, seen or talked to alumni from the class of '60. I play golf and go fishing/boating in my spare time which seems to be diminishing as the Granddaughters get older. I have been in contact with Chip Machacek recently. He is single, retired and plays golf everyday in the desert of California."

"Gary Formet was one of classmates who served in Vietnam. Unfortunately he was wounded and lost both legs. When he "walked" into out 25th reunion I was filled with joy and tears... Gary served as a judge in Orlando for many years. The last time we saw Gary was at our 30th reunion. A few years back Gary was taken from us with cancer. He was a tribute to our class and our country."
